MATFIN MUSIC
MATTHEW
FINNISH
SOLO
With over 40 years experience in the music industry, Matthew Finnish Solo has gained a notable reputation for his solo career and collaborations with other musicians. Not content to rest on his laurels, MatFin is always building towards the next release, adding more classics to his own repertoire or working within the collaborative ensembles that he is associated with.
It is a common belief that music should be shared with listeners as much as possible and to this end, Matthew Finnish Solo has created a show suitable for any occasion - Corporate events; Weddings; Celebrations; Socials - small, large or intermediate.

ABOUT: MATFIN
"a class act for any occasion . . ."
As a music professional based in Devon UK, MATTHEW FINNISH is always looking for opportunities to develop his technical skills and collaborate with creative professionals. From early days and appearances on BBC's Top of the Pops with 'THIS YEAR'S BLONDE'; Winner of ITV's New Faces with his band 'PRIDE' and session guitar work, MatFin has worked on several groundbreaking projects and continued to push himself in stretching his imagination and musical boundaries.
"If you're a frequenter to the smaller tents at Cross Rhythms' Festivals past you may have seen Matt plying his trade with an acoustic guitar and a gutsy blues rock voice. But Mr Finnish is no fresh faced beginner but a music veteran, who, years back, experienced Top 20 success.
Now he offers his debut Christian project and thoroughly engaging it is too. With an eclectic range of styles from retro old time boogie rock on 'Your Will Not Mine' to the Randy Newman-tinged 'Father God'.
My favourites are the poignant acoustic ballad 'Wait For Me' and the eerily haunting piece of funky prog rock 'Waterfall'.
With an excellent, lived in voice and a superior lyricist's winning way with image and metaphor, this is a record of a man whose faith has been caught in the crucible of pain and trial and whose art has matured and deepened as a result"
